PK61 Table - Quickship

The Pk61 coffee table, designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1956, is an extremely stylish and unique piece available in a range of materials which each offers a different aspect to a room. The table top is available in slate, granite, light steel-rolled marble or glass and is also removable, experimenting with the function of gravity to ensure the table remains together in place. This is one of the most common principles of Kjærholm’s work as is the juxtaposition between aesthetics and structural design. Kjærholm’s personal development from industrial design to furniture architecture is evident in the unique design and appearance of the table. The four base satin-brushed stainless steel elements are joined with machine screws adding to its industrial image. The PK61A was produced in 2007 and only differs in measurements as the structure is the same.
