The Kasthall Fåra Rug designed by Ilse Crawford is a handwoven rug that uses newly developed bouclé yarn in pure wool. One of the unique features of this wool is the beautiful irregular quality.

The bouclé yarn has been woven in stripes to expose the wool base. This gives the appearance of earth and fields that have just been ploughed. The Fåra Rug is available in six colours reflecting the changing seasons.

Large rugs. It is recommended that all rugs over a certain size (2m wide or larger than 6 sq.m) should have a special coating added to back of rug at the time of production. This stabilises the dimensions of the rug to keep its shape, and helps to prevent it slipping on the floor. Please enquire for pricing and further details.
