Ability to trade in your old chairs and tables for shiny new ones!

How does it work?

If you are tired of your old dining chairs or table (or both) and would like to buy new from us, we will give you a trade-in credit to be used against new furniture from Couch Potato Company. Or, perhaps you bought copies and would now like to buy Authorised Originals.

Who is Trade & Upgrade for?

• People who bought copies and now wish to trade-in for the real thing.
• People who have moved house and need different furniture, e.g a bigger dining table.
• People who are just bored of their existing furniture and fancy a change!
• And for people who wish to dispose of their old chairs/table when buying new, but don’t just want them to go to landfill or don’t have the time to dispose of them.

Items are reused via charities that re-distribute furniture to schools and other needy causes both here and abroad. This creates two positives; as well as the charity benefiting from “new” furniture, it prevents items going into landfill.

5 Simple Steps

• Email or call us – tell us what you would like to buy and what you have to trade-in. These items need to be in full working order.
• Email a photo of what you have to trade-in.
• We will give you a quotation for the new items you would like to buy including a trade-in credit.
• You order and pay for your items in the usual way (less the trade-in credit).
• When we deliver your items we will collect your trade-in items and redistribute them to worthwhile causes.

Terms & conditions 
We do not buy second hand furniture and can only provide a trade-in credit when a customer purchases new items from Couch Potato. 
Couch Potato Company reserves the right to refuse the trade-in items if they are not as described or as per photograph. 
Each quotation is unique and is based on the items being purchased as well as the items being traded-in. 
Couch Potato Co will do it’s best to redistribute your unwanted items but cannot guarantee Charities will take all items.
