Modern design and a fresh idea are the main characteristics of this beautiful suspension lamp from FLOS. The cable can be adjusted to allow the fixture head and light distribution to be aimed. Designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec explain that Aim Suspension is a new type of lamp that can be naturally positioned in a space with long cables providing maximum freedom to adjust the direction and height of the light source. There is also a smaller version of the Aim Suspension. The two sizes can be mixed together within one installation.
Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in 2013 for FLOS, AIM suspension light is made of varnished aluminium sheet with photo-etched optical polycarbonate shade and Internal reflector of photo-etched ABS. The cable has a total length of 9m (354 inches), so the lamp can be suspended 3m (118 inches) from the ceiling. The general idea underpinning the design is to offer a lamp which can be infinitely adjusted to satisfy all lighting needs. This lamp is the industrial version of the Liane lamp presented at the Kreo gallery in Paris in 2010.
