Introducing Kasthall rugs from Sweden
We are very excited to welcome the Swedish brand Kasthall to our website. Kasthall is an inspiring company specialising in beautiful woven and hand-tufted rugs. The Kasthall factory and headquarters are still located in the same place in Kinna, western Sweden, as when it started in 1889, a symbol of their commitment to continuity and authenticity.

You might have seen their rugs in some of the flagship stores of H&M around the world, or at Vitra's showroom in Clerkenwell, or at Frankfurt Airport. Kasthall rugs can also be seen at corporate offices worldwide, including the Adobe Systems headquarters in Utah, USA, or the Adidas headquarters in Stockholm. The Goose Eye collection is probably the most recognised one, but Bardot, Greta, Ingrid, Marocco, and Hagga with its endless colour and pattern combinations are just as stunning. Some of the designers who work with Kasthall are Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg (the chief in-house designer), Petra Lundblad-Friden, Paola Navone, and Jean Marie Massaud.

Kasthall carefully select the high quality wool and linen for their rugs and only work with the finest natural materials. The wool they source comes mostly from New Zealand, as the sheep there provide wool with some of the best natural characteristics. The threads used for the Kasthall rugs are water-resistant, fire-resistant, and comply with the environmental requirements.

The Kasthall rugs work very well with some of the great midcentury furniture from brands like Vitra, Knoll, Fritz and Carl Hansen, and they really help complete the whole room set. We also have the full set of yarn cards in our showroom, so that you or your interior designer can use exact colours to match your colour scheme and pull it all together.
