Designed in 1929-1930 for the Tugendhat Villa in Brno, Czech Republic, the chair was used in the dining room of the Villa upholstered in white parchment. The chair, an icon of 20th-century design, is celebrated for its lean profile, clean lines, and exquisite details, as well as reflecting the groundbreaking simplicity of the Bauhaus movement.  The chairs have a firm, upright sitting position ideal for conference, meeting and dining.
