The Florence Knoll round table is a perfect example of Florence Knoll's style, where every detail is in its right place and there is nothing unnecessary. The table comes in a variety of top finishes, including marble and wood veneer. It is equally suitable for the dining room or for the office, as it can also be used as a desk.
Having studied architecture with Eliel Saarinen at Cranbrook and with Mies van der Rohe in Chicago, Florence Schust was working for Marcel Breuer and Walter Gropius when she was introduced to the charismatic businessman Hans Knoll. They married and formed Knoll Associates in 1946 when they were in their twenties.
