The Egg™ table was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952 to complement his Ant™ chair. The elliptical design today makes for an informal dining setting or elegant home office desk thanks to its beautifully versatile form and expertly crafted materials.

Resting on three chromed steel legs, the elliptical design is equally purposeful as a kitchen or dining table in smaller spaces as it is in a home office. It fits seamlessly into any setting.

The introduction of the Egg Table marks 70 years since its creation as well as the 150th anniversary of Fritz Hansen as a pioneer of exceptional design.

The collaboration between Arne Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen dates back to 1934. However, it was not until 1952 that the breakthrough came with the Ant Chair.
