Designed by Konstantin Grcic in 2016 for Vitra, Hack is an innovative table system that adjusts to the user's needs. Hack is named for its time and space saving approach to office design. Companies value Hack for its flexibility, since it can be folded up into a practical, flat 'box' in just a few simple steps. This makes Hack easy to dismantle and transport and enables space-saving storage. Individual users appreciate Hack's large work surface, as well as its provision of a private space that can be personalised by pinning up drawings and notes.
The height adjustment feature offers standing, sitting and lounge options for work, meetings and relaxation. Its manually operated crank adjustment system ensures that Hack is ecologically sustainable. In addition, the tables are manufactured on site in an energy-efficient manner, with wooden parts that are locally produced and assembled by Vitra.
The health benefits of alternating between sitting and standing during your work day are vast. According to research, back problems can be avoided, and it can also be beneficial for the cardiovascular system. The continuously variable height adjustment of the table top is manually operated with a recessed grip or a crank. Depending on the version, this feature makes it possible to adjust the table height within seconds from 300 to 1250 mm. Please enquire if you would prefer the quick adjustment version.
All electric plugs GB norm. Please note that if an electrification option is selected, a cable basket will be automatically added to the configuration. Table-top electrification is only available in combination with under-table electrification. In the lowest position, Hack can be outfitted with cushions for use as a sofa. Please enquire for the full range of upholstery possibilities if you are interested in this option. Hack sofa cushions can only be used with the crank operated version of Hack.
