Lune 2 Seater Sofa

  • Meet Lune JH200, Jaime Hayon's newest sofa designed for Fritz Hansen. It is a modular sofa that has unlimited potential for customisation - from a simple two-seater to bigger L-shapes, chaise lounge options and everything in between.

The Danish word "lune" means a warm temperature and a feeling of comfort. With Lune, Jaime Hayon has taken the flexibility and versatility of a modular sofa and added an aesthetic layer to it. The result is a sofa built by several modules that retains an aesthetic unity to his original design.

Jaime Hayon has created a design built on simplicity and urbanity, as a perfect addition to his existing pieces, the Ro Armchair and Fri Chair. With the reassurance of quality and craftsmanship that Republic of Fritz Hansen is known for, Lune is a sofa suited for ultimate relaxation in style.

The sofa is then placed upon a subtle frame of matt polished stainless steel, with legs in oak, black coloured oak, or brushed aluminium. For Lune, Fritz Hansen has chosen several 'Designer Selection' Linara upholstery colours.

Linara by Romo is a very soft cotton-linen blend fabric; it is piece dyed meaning that colour differences can appear within batches and make each sofa a unique item. There is a wide choice of upholstery from either fabric or leather including upholstered arm rests, so please enquire for the full range of customisation options.
