The Eames Lounge Chair was designed back in 1956 by Charles and Ray Eames. Today the chair and Ottoman is manufactured by Vitra. The chair is classic and elegant! Because of both good design and materials, you can have the chair for ages, even handing it down to future generations! Back in 1956 when the chair was designed, Charles and Ray Eames was inspired by the English club chair, and by a soft, comfortable baseball glove. The chair comes in a large range of colours, you can choose from Santos Palisander, black- or white-pigmented walnut, black ash, or cherry shells, and a range of sumptuous leathers. It is hard to beat the classic combination, true to the original design, of a dark wood veneer and black leather.
