Wishbone chair now available on Quickship
Great news for all Wishbone chair fans - the iconic CH24 chair designed by Hans J. Wegner is now available on Quickship in several finishes: soaped beech, oiled beech, beech painted black or white, soaped oak, oiled oak, oak painted black and oak white oil. The Quickship versions are only available with natural paper cord seat, and lead times for Quickship products are 2-3 weeks from placing the order.

Anniversary Edition Wishbone chair
In celebration of 100 years of Hans J. Wegner, Carl Hansen & Son is launching a limited edition of the Wishbone chair made from 100-year-old beech trees planted in Wegner's birth year in the forest on the Danish island of Funen. The woods are planted with great respect for nature and have witnessed the same events as Wegner himself, as Knud Erik Hansen, the chief executive of Carl Hansen & Son, points out. The timber used is sustainable and of the highest quality.

Don't miss pre-Christmas delivery dates
We know it may seem early to start thinking about Christmas. It is not really in our nature to start shouting about it early - we don't all want to be fed up hearing about it as early as October. However, as much of our furniture is made to order with typical lead times of 6 to 8 weeks, we do all need to plan ahead more at this time of year. We will post again soon with specific deadlines for individual brands, but in the meantime it is safe to say the earlier you order the better your chances are of getting that new Tulip table, Eames lounge chair or whatever it is you need to be ready for the festive season.
